The Lions announced that Jameson Williams had been activated from the Reserve/NFI list today. In addition, the Detroit Lions have activated Romeo Okwara from the Reserve/PUP list. They have also placed Julian Okwara on the Reserve/Injured list and elevated Ross Pierschbacher from the practice squad to the Active/Inactive list. The Lions host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field on Sunday afternoon.

Williams was scary good throughout his time at Alabama. He had over 1500 receiving yards in 2021, with 15 touchdowns, with a 19.9 average yards per reception. His appearance on the field will open up routes for Amon-Ra St. Brown and Chalk.
